Mercedes-Benz South West is Covid-secure

We have been working hard to transform our showrooms into Covid-secure car dealerships to keep our community safe. We are thrilled to have received officially certified Covid-secure status which has been independently verified by an external risk assessor.

This official certification recognizes that our business has adapted to the changing situation to keep our customers safe.

We have carried out a COVID-19 risk assessment and shared the results with the people who work across our business.
All team members have signed our updated Covid-19 compliance policies which map out our guidance for maintaining social distancing and following proper hygiene procedures.

We have cleaning, handwashing and hygiene procedures in line with guidance.
There is hand sanitizer available for staff and customers throughout our dealerships, please use these as often as you would like to. We have also added additional cleaning and sterilization through all areas of our business. From Friday 24th July we will be following government guidance regarding face coverings in shops, and politely request that customers wear face coverings when inside our dealerships. 

We have taken all reasonable steps to help people work from home.
We have adopted remote working wherever possible.

We have taken all reasonable steps to maintain a 2m distance in the workplace.
We have established one way systems around the dealerships, reduced capacity in common areas and relocated staff members so our colleagues can maintain a safe distance.

Where people cannot be 2m apart, we have done everything practical to manage transmission risk.
We have implemented safety screens wherever possible to minimize risks. We have also addressed our processes so that time spent in close proximity is as minimal as possible.
