We are currently looking for a Centre / Sales Manager at oversee our Part Exchange Center in Hill Barton, Exeter.

Within this role the successful candidate will be responsible for maximising sale and profitability through the delivery of the trade performance, actively market and manage the sales operation and ensuring that all standards and processes are adhered to in line with the business need.

Salary

£28,000 per annum (OTE £52,000)

Centre Manager Responsibilities:

  • Communicates the Part Exchange culture of quality and excellence
  • Manages the sales operation in line with Part Exchange standards and processes
  • Maximises sales opportunities in line with targets set
  • Utilises all enquiry management tools to maximise sales
  • Instructs Sales team on using all digital mediums to communicate with customers Live Video/C it Now/Live Chats
  • Formulate sales targets for each sales team member providing support
  • Delivers retail sales, controlling costs and profit margins to meet business targets
  • Formulates and implements marketing plans for the business
  • Analyses current procedures and identifies opportunities for improvement
  • Communicates and influences colleagues across all business areas
  • Initiates sales meetings to drive sales and generate ideas/solutions from the team
  • Communicates and develops strong personal relationships with customers to maintain their continued loyalty
  • Consults with customers to establish their needs to deliver a high level of service
  • Resolves all customer complaints with speed and effectively
  • Reviews customer satisfaction and implements improvements through the team
  • Ensures the showroom and sales areas are presented to the highest standard
  • Manages resource allocation to optimise seasonal and promotional peaks
  • Maximises the use of all advertising and point of sale literature
  • Ensures the sales team have full knowledge and understanding of product, promotional and marketing activities
  • Provides training and support to the team to improve product knowledge and competitor awareness to increase sales opportunities
  • Develops the capabilities of individuals/team through the performance management process providing coaching/training
  • Ensures that all financial processes linked to vehicle sale are operated in line with FCA guidelines
  • Ensures all areas of Health & Safety operate effectively and within the requirements of the law
  • Builds good relationships with professional bodies, suppliers and statutory representatives
  • Ensures all capital outlay is authorised by their line manager or a director

What’s required from you?

  • Previous sales experience within the Motor industry
  • 5 years practical experience in a Sales environment
  • Experience of managing a sales team in a customer focussed environment
  • Proven ability of delivering sales with their team
  • Specialist knowledge of F&I, consumer law and vehicle valuation
