To identify areas of opportunity through VHC and vehicle examination to upsell additional products and services. Consistently exceeds customer expectations. Ensure that all standard processes are adhered to in line with the business needs & franchise contract.

Job Scope

  • Carry out other duties which may or may not be related to the job, as reasonably requested by management
  • Complete the necessary documentation associated with work completed
  • Keep company provided equipment in good serviceable condition
  • Always adhere to strict Health, Safety & Environmental Policies / Regulations when performing work
  • Responsible for carrying out all service and rectification work in a professional way

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities

  • Communicates the Mercedes-Benz culture of quality and excellence
  • Performs all maintenance services in line with the company and Mercedes-Benz standards and processes
  • Completes a comprehensive diagnosis and repair job sheet
  • Carries out all repair work using all available workshop information systems necessary to store vehicle system functions
  • Advises Service Team Manager of any additional work required
  • Completes final documentation for invoicing
  • Ensures protection, cleaning and care of customer vehicle
  • Meets business standards of fix first visit
  • Provides a high level of technical expertise to deliver a high level of service
  • Communicates and develops strong professional relationships with customers to deliver a high level of service
  • Identifies training and development needs for self as part of the performance management process
  • Ensures all areas of Health & Safety operate effectively and within the requirements of the law

Knowledge & Specific Job Skills

  • Proficient fault finding / diagnostic skills
  • Computer literate and able to operate Windows based programs
  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Must be able to communicate both verbally and in writing at all levels

  • Previous experience within the Motor industry
