Job Scope:

  • Support the Digital Marketing Specialist with Social Media activities such as scheduling and social listening
  • Competitive research on digital channels; web, social and emarkeing.
  • Reports finding back to the team with learnings and recommendations for future digital activities
  • Manage inbound customer emails and requests and forward as relevant
  • Timely preparation of marketing board pack
  • Support the Events Specialist with the co-ordination and marketing of events

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities

  • Continuously listen to local market and social channels through use of social tools and research
  • Co-ordinate market research; including outbound call campaigns and focus group activity; in line with brief.
  • Support planning and attendance of internal and external events as required by Events Specialist
  • Ensure events are executed professionally and with a premium attention to detail reflecting brand values
  • Pull together monthly Comms review pack as directed by GCM
  • Monitor and facilitate info@ email to ensure communication excellence with customers
  • Broadcast daily and routine direct marketing activity to include monthly mail merges
  • Cleanse and maintain accuracy of staff broadcast list
  • Manage CDI/opt-in updates to maintain email lists and compliance with GDPR
  • Assist on projects as per the needs of the team & business
  • Act and respond flexibly to meet the needs of the business
  • Communicate clearly, regularly and promptly with colleagues across all business areas
  • Communicate the Mercedes-Benz culture of quality and excellence through channels of influence
  • Identify training and development needs for yourself as part of the performance management process
  • Ensure all capital outlay is authorised by a line or dept manager
