Our business employs 600 staff who are based across 9 sites throughout the South West, which includes our 4 dealerships which are based at Exeter, Taunton, Plymouth and Truro.

We are currently looking for a Marketing Executive to join our Marketing team who are based at our site in Exeter. Working hours are Monday to Friday 08:30-17:00.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating engaging marketing content to increase brand awareness and engagement, managing all emarketing and marketing automation activities for the purpose of generating leads and lead nurturing:

£26,000 to £28,000 – Depending on Experience

Marketing Specialist responsibilities:

  • Creation and implementation of a content planner to support marketing activities of the team
  • Develop personalised/segmented e-news communications for MBPC, smart and LBDM
  • Build intelligent and regularly audit routine communications
  • Own all marketing automation (HubSpot) activities and work in alignment with the Customer Experience Officer on future sales integrations
  • Create content for internal and external magazines and press releases
  • Create and manage direct mail sends personalising to customer’s interaction ie model and interests
  • Analyse and report on individual activities, tracking openers, CTR and conversions
  • Ensure all outgoing material is professional, proof read and legally compliant
  • Conduct competitor research bi-annually to understand competitor communication and customer journeys
  • Champion culture change across all businesses, through effective commercially aligned reporting
  • Communicate clearly, regularly and promptly with colleagues across all business areas
  • Communicate the Mercedes-Benz culture of quality and excellence through channels of influence
  • Identify training and development needs for yourself as part of the personal development process
  • Ensure all capital outlay is authorised by Group Marketing Manager

What’s required from you?

  • Experience of marketing automation and emarketing platforms essential (Preferably Hubspot)
  • Confident copy-writer
  • A keen eye for detail
  • A strong understanding of Google Analytics and other tracking platforms
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign – desirable
  • SEO experience
  • Dynamic and driven self-starter
