We are currently looking for a Sales Executive to join our sales team in Truro. This position will require flexibility with working hours as you will be working across all 7 days of the week on a rota, a total of 42.5 hours per week.

Salary:

£18,360 (OTE £37,000)

SE Responsibilities:

  • Communicates the Mercedes- Benz culture of quality and excellence
  • Delivers sales in line with the company standards and processes
  • Participates in planning & working sales campaigns and promotions
  • Outbound telephone prospecting
  • Communicates and develops strong personal relationships with customers via phone, video call, email etc.
  • Communicates customers expectations/requirements to the Transaction and Sales managers
  • Works closely with the Transaction Manager and Showroom Star Expert to ensure a seamless customer journey from point of initial contact through to vehicle handover
  • Offers sound advice and product knowledge to customers on vehicles, prices, specifications and technical data
  • Conducts digital contract reviews via video
  • Uses knowledge of the competition to highlight advantages to customers
  • Assesses used cars and conducts technical appraisals on part exchange vehicles
  • Promotes sales and service packages/bolt-ons in line with FCA requirements
  • Makes an appropriate introduction of the Transaction Manager within the Sales Process
  • Concludes sales in a professional manner and with the best interest of the company and customer and where possible conducts the transaction online
  • Ensures that vehicles are ready for handover as per an agreed schedule as part of the ‘click & collect’ or home delivery process
  • Undertakes final checks of vehicle to ensure quality of preparation is in accordance with required standards
  • Organises all administrative aspects of the transaction and ensures all documentation has been prepared and is available at the time of handover
  • Provides the customer with contacts in other departments to support the overall customer experience
  • During the vehicle purchase maintains and co-ordinates the service to the customer across all departments
  • Reviews customer satisfaction and implements improvements
  • Communicates clearly, regularly and promptly with the customer, their line manager and colleagues
  • Identifies training and development needs as part of the performance management process
  • Ensures all processes are effective pre & post delivery in line with the company & franchise requirements
  • Ensures the safety and security of people, vehicles and property at all times, reporting any known faults or hazards
  • Ensures all capital outlay is authorised by their line manager or a director
