We are currently looking for a Van Business Development Manager at our site in Taunton. The working hours for this position are from Monday to Friday 08:30-18:00 with a 1hr lunch break.

This is a great opportunity to build a business from a fledgling start, we are seeking to hear from individuals who are active in networking and prospecting and enjoy the challenge of building something special with a company that has the support and resource to enable success. The successful candidate will be promoting the sale of new and used Light Commercial Vehicles to meet business targets, building and maintaining a network of suppliers of used LCV to sell and providing support to the LCV aftersales team.

Salary:

£23,000 with an OTE of £45,000 (commission is uncapped)

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver sales in line with the company and standards and processes
  • Administers all finance and insurance products in line with the company standards and processes in addition to statutory requirements
  • Communicates the Mercedes- Benz culture of quality and excellence
  • Communicates with our marketing team to ensure vehicle information, specification and pricing is up to date
  • Communicates and develops strong personal relationships with customers and business partners
  • Offers sound advice and product knowledge to customers on vehicles, prices, specifications and technical data
  • Assesses used cars and conducts technical appraisals on part exchange vehicles
  • Manage all customer leads to point of sale and delivery
  • Run an efficient contact management diary, ensuring all leads are maximised
  • Concludes sales in a professional manner and with the best interest of the company
  • Maintain accurate information of customer database within franchise and legal guidelines
  • Organises all administrative aspects of the transaction in line with the customers expectation
  • Provides the customer with contacts in other departments to support the overall customer experience
  • Reviews customer satisfaction and implements improvements
  • Communicates clearly, regularly and promptly with the customer, their line manager and colleagues
  • Identifies training and development needs as part of the performance management process
  • Ensures all processes are effective pre & post delivery in line with the company & franchise requirements
  • Ensure the safety and security of people, vehicles and property at all times, reporting any known faults or hazards
  • Ensures all capital outlay is authorised by their line manager or a director
