Mercedes-Benz South West has the backing of City West Country Ltd, a privately-owned family run organisation with more than three decades of motor industry experience. Our business employs 560 staff who are based across 9 sites throughout the South West, which includes our 4 dealerships which are based at Exeter, Taunton, Plymouth and Truro.

We are currently looking for a Website Administrator to join the marketing team on a part time basis at our head office which is based in Marsh Barton, Exeter. The working hours for this position will be 3 days per week 08:30-17:00.

This role is 60% website co-ordination and 40% Graphic design and asset preparation. Within the role the successful candidate will be responsible for our website maintenance, SEO implementation, website analytics and creation of digital assets to use on our website, social media, digital marketing campaigns and internal communications.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure all content is up to date on all company websites (Mercedes-Benz and smart South West)
  • Uploading and amending new models, offers, events, staff and blog posts
  • Creating landing pages using existing WordPress templates to support marketing events and campaigns
  • Support the Direct and Digital Marketing Specialist with implementing SEO strategies across all websites
  • Support the Group Marketing Manager with monitoring website engagement via Google Analytics
  • Support the Digital Marketing Specialist with the creation of digital assets to be used on the website, social media, digital marketing campaigns and internal communications
  • Work with photographers and videographers to ensure that all imagery is brand consistency and formatted correctly for web
  • Communicate clearly, regularly and promptly with colleagues across all business areas
  • Communicate the Mercedes-Benz culture of quality and excellence through channels of influence
  • Identify training and development needs for yourself as part of the performance management process

KNOWLEDGE & SPECIFIC JOB SKILLS

  • Experience in working with a CMS (preferably WordPress)
  • An excellent understanding of Abode Photoshop (essential)
  • An understanding of Adobe illustrator and InDesign (desirable)
  • Basic understanding of SEO
  • Experience in using Google Analytics
