We are currently looking for a Transaction Manager to join our sales team in Truro. This position will require flexibility with working hours as you will be working across all 7 days of the week on a rota, a total of 42.5 hours per week. Within this role the successful candidate will be responsible for their own small team within the sales department. They will be assisting with the monitoring, training and development of Star Experts and the transaction of new and used car business whilst maximising profit through key KPI’s.

Salary:

£23,636 (OTE £53,636)

Transaction Manager Responsibilities:

  • Communicates the Mercedes-Benz culture of quality and excellence
  • Administers all finance and insurance products in line with the company and Mercedes- Benz standards and processes in addition to statutory requirements
  • Provides support to the sales department by maximising the sale of customer finance, insurance, MBI and related products
  • Works with the sales team to develop incentives and development programmes to promote financial products and services
  • Provides managerial cover in the absence of the sales managers/ general sales manager
  • Provides cover and support to the sales team as required in all aspects of the sales process
  • Communicates promptly with the customer, sales managers, sales team and work colleagues
  • Communicates and develops strong personal relationships with customers to deliver a high level of service
  • Reviews customer satisfaction and implements improvements. Ensures that customer complaints are dealt with speedily and effectively
  • Ensure that the sales team are fully aware of all F&I and related products, including any special incentives on offer
  • Ensures that all financial processes linked to vehicle sale are operated in line with the business and Mercedes-Benz guidelines
  • Promotes a comprehensive range of additional Mercedes- Benz approved services including Breakdown Insurance, finance and leasing offers and service plans
  • Maintains effective sales information by ensuring all relevant marketing information is maintained on the customer/prospect database and that all Point of Sales is relevant, current and legal
  • Communicates and influences colleagues across all business areas
  • Takes ownership for continuous personal development to maintain and improve technical expertise
  • Identifies training & development needs as part of the performance management process
  • Ensures all areas of Health & Safety operate effectively and within the requirements of the law
  • Builds good relationships with manufacturers, professional bodies, suppliers and statutory representatives
  • Ensures all regulated activities are carried out in line with those procedures laid down by the FCA
  • Ensures the timely return of all information required to comply with those requirements laid down by the FCA, either directly to this governing body or to an appointed representative
  • Ensures all capital outlay is approved by their line manager or a director

What’s required from you?

  • Previous sales experience within the Motor industry is essential
  • Experience of a customer focused environment
  • Specialist knowledge of F&I and MBI and vehicle valuation
  • Administration & IT skills
