Introducing Mercedes-AMG “Edition 55” special models, AMG's way of marking their 55th birthday this year. If you follow us on social media then you’ll know we like to call each Friday ‘AMG Friday’ here at Mercedes-Benz South West, where we share with you the latest and greatest AMG news and products.
This year, AMG celebrates its 55th birthday and are marking it by launching exclusive “Edition 55” special models of the Mercedes-AMG A 35 and CLA 35. If you simply can't get enough of AMG, then this one's for you.

The “Edition 55” models include even more AMG on every level. At first glance, the AMG Aerodynamics Package attracts attention with its enlarged front splitter, additional flics, an AMG rear wing, side spoiler lips on the rear apron’s optical air outlets and the Blade diffuser, all in high-gloss black.
You’ll also notice the AMG Night Package which only enhances the dynamic appearance of the “Edition 55” models. Additional louvres and trims located around the vehicle complete the exclusive look.

More distinguishing features of the Mercedes-AMG “Edition 55” include the 19-inch AMG multi-spoke light-alloy wheels with a matt titanium grey pint finish and a high-sheen rim flange to showcase its sporty and aggressive mood. Paint finishes for the “Edition 55” include cosmos black or digital white metallic.
Characterised by contrast
Enter the cockpit and you’ll be greeted with a contrast of black and red. First you’ll notice the AMG Performance seats upholstered in two-tone black/red leather. Accents of black and red are found throughout the interior of the vehicle which is rounded off by the AMG brushed aluminium to provide an exclusive atmosphere.
The DINAMICA microfiber AMG Steering wheel also has a nice extra touch by featuring a “55” badge to mark the 55th birthday of the brand.
