Appalling customer service to obtain a replacement key. No sense of urgency or appreciation of impact vehicle usage loss can have on a customer. Mercedes required the car to be recovered (cost £125) to their depot for "identification" purposes then had to bring my partner back from holiday early because her name was on the logbook. Waited a further 5 days for a key turnaround (£295) from Germany!...When the key arrived the blade didn't fit and the battery in the fob was dead!!! Had to order a new blade and wait a further 5 days.I think Mercedes-Benz and Mercedes-Benz South West (Plymouth) this needs to be looked into from several customer service perspectives. Not what you expect from a top Marque.

Whilst the service was completed in the set 1.5 hours, I have to say I was very disappointed by the way we were spoken to as the customer. This isn't my first experience of this with Plymouth. Ive been told on my first visit, that the secondhand cars were down the front, so I went back to BMW, second visit was told the car was sold didn't offer anything else so we went to Stratford Upon Avon and got what we wanted. Then on a recall was told that there was a bus stop outside if we wanted to go to town, this time we were told that we should have booked a ride into town, which was the first time we knew of that, which we accepted but its the manner it was delivered, we run three cars and was looking to replace the Ranger Rover in the next six mouths, big question where?
We work on the principle that the customer is always right with our services.

Good phone communication re work needed, when car was ready etc. A slight hiccup with the payment as service plan not taken into account, however this was put right speedily and with many apologies, so I would not mark the experience down on that account - all done with courtesy and a smile
