We now offer a 14-day money back guarantee to all our customers so you can ensure your new car is the right one for you. Here at Mercedes-Benz South West, we value full transparency throughout your experience with us, so you know exactly what you’re buying.

We do this by sharing a video and / or photos of the vehicle, and can also chat to you via video appointment so you can ask any questions as you inspect your new Mercedes-Benz. Providing a 14-day money back guarantee gives you that breathing space you need to make sure you’re completely reassured with your purchase.

Are there any costs associated?

We’d like to say no, but unfortunately there are a few occasions where you may incur some additional costs.

Collection

The cost of vehicle collection is £2 per mile back to your supplying retailer. If the vehicle was delivered via a flatbed truck, we will collect it via the same methods and costs for this service will be applied.

Alternatively, you can return the vehicle yourself to the Mercedes-Benz South West dealership from which you purchased it (with the exception of vehicles that we delivered via a flatbed truck). If this is your preferred option a date and time must be agreed beforehand and all fuel costs and additional travel costs will be your responsibility.

Damage and modifications

If the vehicle has been damaged or modified after delivery we may not accept your refund or you may incur costs for repairs and/or alterations to remedy the changes or damage.

Excess mileage

If you drive your vehicle more than 250 miles after collection or delivery, we may not accept your request for a refund. If the vehicle has covered more than 250 miles after collection or delivery and we do accept the refund a cost of £1 per additional mile over 250 miles will be charged.

Once you have requested a refund we will require proof of mileage. If the vehicle is driven after this point there will be a charge of £1 per mile in excess of what was documented, with the exception of the agreed distance to deliver it back to us.

All costs made payable to Mercedes-Benz South West will be taken out of the value of the vehicle and your refund. In instances where there are insufficient funds due back (finance settlements for example), then payment will need to be made prior to executing the refund.

How long will it take to get my money back once I have returned my vehicle?

We process your refunds within 24 – 48 hours of the vehicle arriving back at our dealerships, with the exception of weekends and bank holiday’s, when it could take up to five days.

Once we have processed your refund it could appear in your account as soon as 24 hours, but it could take longer depending on the length of time it takes for your bank process your refund.
