Mercedes-Benz CLA Coupé Facelift

The Mercedes-Benz CLA Coupé has received a facelift, and it's sleeker and more dynamic than ever before. It’s not just the exterior that’s seen an upgrade; updated technology and fresh powertrain offerings also come with the new facelift.

Powertrains

Mild-hybrid power accompanies each petrol version of the updated CLA, with a 48-volt motor adding an additional 13bhp. The belt-driven starter generation noticeably improves customer comfort and experience. It enables low-vibration and low-noise engine starting, as well as coasting with the combustion engine switched off.

Diesel is still an option for theCLA, with the CLA 180 d, CLA 200 d, and CLA 220d. All diesel options use the same 2.0-litre, four-cylinder engine tuned to different outputs.

The most powerful model is the CLA 250, with 221bhp, a top of speed of 155mph, and going from 0-62 in 6.4 seconds.

Interior

The interior changes are similar to that of the 2023 A-Class hatchback facelift, including a seven-inch and 10.25-inch screen setup as standard. Naturally, the infotainment system includes the latest generation of MBUX, featuring the new display styles ‘Classic’, ‘Sporty’, and ‘Discreet’. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto come as standard.

The Mercedes-AMG Performance steering wheel comes as standard, and features extra buttons alongside its double-spoke design.

Redesigned centre console

Everything quickly to hand - and ready to use. The new centre console offers more storage space and the controls have been arranged even more intuitively.

Widescreen cockpit

The central media display is now 10.25-inch as standard. In combination with the 10.25-inch fully digital instrument display and one continuous glass surface, the cockpit has an impressive widescreen look.

New comfort suspension

The highest level of comfort comes as standard in the new CLA Coupé. In the AMG Line, you have sports seats with optimised lateral support and integrated head restraints - optionally in one of the new upholstery variants ARTICO man-made leather/MICROCUT bahia brown microfibre or ARTICO man-made leather in sage grey. With standard equipment, you can enjoy high-quality comfort seats with seat covers in ARTICO man-made leather/black Bertrix fabric. The Bertrix fabric cover is made from 100% recycled materials.

Exterior

New front design

Even when stationary, the slightly forward-slanting front end with redesigned front apron and powerdomes on the bonnet convey a high degree of dynamism. An additional highlight is the new radiator grille with three-dimensional Mercedes-Benz pattern.

Coupé design

Expressive design that emphasises your individuality – a passionately designed coupé roof line, sporty wide wheelbases and an exciting GT rear end – framing for four frameless doors.

Multi-function sports steering wheel

Operate your vehicle as intuitively as a smartphone. The latest generation steering wheel recognises touch even more accurately for improved "finger navigation" via swipes and presses. The new Hands-On Detection also registers the touching of the steering wheel and can warn if necessary.

New rear-end design

The athletic shape of the CLA Coupé flows into the sporty, elegant GT rear end. The rear bumper with new diffuser look and the new full LED rear lamps emphasise the self-confident appearance - in a modern, progressive form.
