Mercedes-Benz GLE 450 AMG Line Premium

The GLE is one of the larger SUVs in the Mercedes-Benz model range, and sits comfortably between the GLC, which is a compact SUV, and the GLS, which is the biggest SUV in the range. The GLE had a substantial update back in 2019, which introduced an array of new features, including the MBUX technology and two additional seats in the back, transforming it into an extremely practical seven-seater.
Exterior
The GLE AMG Line Premium has a great selection of features, including the popular MULTIBEAM LED Headlights with Adaptive Highbeam Assist Plus, to provide the highest level of safety on the road and the Parking Package and Mirror Package, which provide front and rear sensors, a 360 degree camera, and electric folding mirrors. The Premium specification comes with upgraded 20” 5-twin spoke AMG alloy wheels, finished in Tremolite Grey. Other exterior highlights include the AMG body styling on the front apron, rear apron and side skirts, for an overall dominating look on the road.
Interior
As we come to the interior, the 64-colour Ambient Lighting floods your cabin, and both you and your passengers can enjoy the elegant luxury of the leather seats with four-way lumbar support and seat heating. The Premium specification has also added the 12-way electrical Memory Function for you and your front passenger.
To keep you connected on the go, you can take advantage of the MBUX Multimedia system, via the 12.3-inch widescreen cockpit. As this is the Premium level of specification, Wireless Charging is included as an upgrade and practical necessities including Navigation, DAB Radio and Bluetooth connectivity and all standard.
Safety
As safety is of the highest of importance with Mercedes-Benz, the GLE has a plethora of safety features as standard, including Blind Spot Assist, Active Brake Assist and Traffic Sign Assist. As part of the upgraded Premium Plus Package, you can view all of these in your Heads-Up Display.
Practicality
Whilst this is a practical seven-seater with plenty of legroom and boot space, complete with an electric EASYPACK tailgate, it also boasts impressive performance, as the 3.0 petrol engine boasts 367bhp, making it the quickest and smoothest non-AMG GLE. It also has a surprisingly agile turning circle for a car of its size.
