Summer has long been known as Festival Season across the nation, and the South West is no exception. The summer festivals across Devon, Cornwall and Somerset. We’ve rounded up the best of the West (Country), with music, arts and family-friendlies, there is undeniably something for everyone to enjoy over the warmer months.

Cornwall festivals

Rock Oyster Festival, 23 - 26 July

Rock Oyster Festival returns for 2026, serving up an unforgettable blend of live music, top chef demos and Cornwall’s best food and drink, all set against a stunning coastal backdrop.

Boardmasters, 5 - 9 August

The Newquay festival returns with a killer line up of international artists, surf league competitions and yoga, all set upon the dramatic backdrop of the Cornish coastline.

Countryfest 2026, 10 July

Frome Festival, 3 - 12 July

West Devon festivals

Sea Ilfracombe Maritime Festival, 5 - 6 September

Dobwalls Charity Beer and Cider Festival, 25 - 26  July

East Devon Festivals

Budleigh Music Festival, 28 June - 4 July

Beautiful Days, 21 - 23  August

North Devon Festivals 

Summer Bude Food Festival, 9 August

Sheb Fest 2026, 4 - 5 September
