The Mercedes-AMG GLA 45 S 4MATIC Plus masters a multitude of disciplines; with instant acceleration, plus fast shifting and striking, sporty good looks. This compact all-rounder can unleash an incredibly high level of dynamic handling. The 2.0-litre engine is the most powerful series-produced four-cylinder turbo engine.
The active, fully-variable AMG Performance 4MATIC+ all-wheel drive distributes the power to the rear axle wheel selectively using AMG TORQUE CONTROL providing the basis for top traction in any driving conditions. This is made possible by a new rear axle differential featuring two multi-disc clutches – one for each rear wheel. The AMG SPEEDSHIFT DCT 8G dual clutch transmission apportions the power within a split second to suit the specific driving situation.

The athletic and muscular exterior of the new GLA 45s + also packs plenty of emotional appeal: the long bonnet with its power domes, 21” alloy wheels, the compact greenhouse and powerful shoulders over the wheel arches clearly reveal the vehicle’s sports car genes.
The GLA 45 makes an impressive first impression with the aerodynamic package giving a strong presence enhanced by the flared wheel arches of its front wings and by the large air intakes with silver chrome inserts in the fins. The AMG-specific radiator grille with the vertical slats also identifies the SUV as a member of the AMG Performance family. The LED High Performance headlamps are provided as standard to illuminate the road ahead.
The combination of sporty design and sophisticated details in the cockpit make the GLA 45s+ a real head turner. In true Mercedes-Benz style the interior compliments the athletic exterior with the AMG High-End Performance seats and AMG Performance steering wheel.
Another feature is the MBUX infotainment system with its innovative operating and display concept. Transforming the in-car user experience, MBUX creates an even closer connection between the vehicle, driver and passengers. Thanks to artificial intelligence, the voice controlled MBUX is activated by using the words “Hey Mercedes”.
