What is the Safety and Guard 360 Digital Extra package?

The Safety and Guard 360 Package has been designed to give you peace of mind in the event that your Mercedes-Benz is stolen. Think of it as a body guard for your Mercedes.

Stolen Vehicle Help

It’s important to immediately report that your car has been stolen to the police, they’ll then give you a case number. Then use this Digital Extra to report that your vehicle is stolen. A Mercedes-Benz authorised service partner will release the data of where your car is positioned directly to the police once you’ve informed them of your case number and the relevant police station, meaning that investigations can begin even without a court order. This already increases your chances of getting your Mercedes-Benz back as if your vehicle is located, the police can immediately start their search.

Emergency Key Deactivation

If you come to the realisation that you’ve not got your keys on you – whether you’ve just misplaced them, lost them, or they’ve been stolen, you can use the Emergency Key Deactivation Digital Extra to deactivate all or specific keys of your Mercedes-Benz. All you need to do is click on the deactivate button, enter your Mercedes me ID, for your keys to be deactivated and Mercedes to be locked. You also benefit from the two-stage steering wheel lock which ensures that nobody can move your Mercedes. 

Adaptive Highbeam Assist

Better light conditions in fog, rain, twilight and darkness: With Adaptive Highbeam Assist, you can be sure of optimum illumination of the road at all times. It controls the intelligent lighting of your Mercedes automatically. In doing so, it avoids dazzling other road users by automatically switching between high and low beam. Better lighting conditions at all times - without impairing the visibility conditions of others.

If the culprit didn't leave their address behind, you are now faced with the hassle of organising and paying for the repair yourself. With Theft notification and parking damage detection you will be quicker: A smartphone notification informs you in real time should your vehicle be moved or disturbed. In addition, the Mercedes-Benz App shows the cause of the alarm as well as the level, place and time of the damage. When parking damage is detected, you will also see this information on the media display when you enter the car and you can transmit this to your Mercedes-Benz Partner if you wish.
