Mercedes-Benz South West is proud to support the work of Guide Dogs South West, with our first ever Open-Air Cinema!
Guide Dogs South West’s aim is simple: they want people who are blind and partially sighted to enjoy the same freedom of movement as everyone else. They work with people of all ages, and their services help people to do the simple things that sighted people often take for granted.
The Guide Dogs story started in 1931 with two amazing British pioneers, Muriel Crooke and Rosamund Bond. These remarkable women organised the training of the first four British guide dogs from a humble lock up garage in Wallasey, Merseyside. We are aiming to contribute to their rich history by hosting an Open Air Cinema at our Exeter dealership.
On Saturday 14th September our forecourt will become a showground, as we screen The Greatest Showman under the stars. All profits from the event will be donated to Guide Dogs South West.

With mouth-watering burgers provided by Meat59, plus a range of delicious alcoholic and soft drinks available to purchase. All you need to bring along is your camping chairs and blankets, and join us for The Greatest Show!
It costs Guide Dogs over £55,000 to support a guide dog from birth through to retirement. Buying a ticket to the Open Air Cinema helps to give the guide dogs the training and development they need to make a difference to the almost two million people in the UK living with sight loss.
Tickets to The Greatest Showman are £10 + booking fee and can be purchased via Eventbrite. Parking has been kindly been donated by The Matford Centre, directly opposite our dealership.
