One of our favourite times of the year here at Mercedes-Benz South West is when the man himself, Father Christmas, visits the South West. Make it a Christmas to remember for the whole family by visiting Santa face-to-face and enjoying Christmassy days out that the kids will love wherever you are in the South West. Below we have rounded up 6 of our favourite places to visit Santa in the South West this Christmas. Devon

The Polar Express – Buckfastleigh Await the arrival of its sleek black steam engine and hop on-board The Polar Express on its journey to the North Pole. It is here you’ll meet Santa and one of his friendly elves, who will both climb on-board to meet you all. After the train ride there is lots of opportunity to take photographs of family and friends will The Polar Express as the backdrop. Crealy has numerous events taking place on a variety of days, including Santa’s Toy Shop, a new Christmas on Ice Show, and Santa’s Farewell parade including Santa, Buddy & Blossom, cheeky elves, and more Christmas characters! Cornwall

Newquay Zoo – Newquay Although it’s his busiest time of year, Father Christmas would love to meet you at Newquay Zoo this Christmas in his magical grotto. Children can also make reindeer food at the elf workshop – sprinkle it on your lawn and night, the moon will help it sparkle bright, as Santa’s reindeer fly and roam, this food will guide them to your home! Father Christmas will be in the stables on Saturday 11^th and 18^th, and Sunday 12^th and 19^th from 10:15 to 16:15. Bookable time slots throughout the day. Somerset

Hestercombe Gardens - Taunton Although it’s his busiest time of year, Father Christmas would love to meet you at Hestercombe this Christmas. This once in a year opportunity for you to meet father Christmas face to face and receive your own special gift. Wonder through the winter gardens where you’ll find the man himself. East Somerset Railway Santa Special – Cranmore All aboard the Santa Special train! Santa is back at East Somerset Railway this year and he’d love to see you. First, you’ll have a 30 minute ride on the Santa Special train. Then, you’ll cross the line to the North Pole Station where you’ll find Santa. It’s here that Santa will give you a free gift (if you’ve been good of course!) There will be a Goody Bag for every child to take onto the train which will contain colouring sheets, crayons and a family Santa quiz sheet.
