If applicable please bring:

  • 2 x keys
  • Service history
  • V5 log book
  • Owner’s manual
  • Alloy locking wheel nut
  • Rear parcel shelf/roller cover

For Your Handover

As a part exchange is part payment for your new car, we do require all documents to be provided either prior to handover or on the day of. If any of the required items aren’t provided, we would require a £250 security deposit. This is fully refundable on receipt of the document/key.

1. Your most recent V5C for your part exchange:
If there is a private plate which you are taking off the car then please ensure you have processed the retention (this can be done online) and bring in the NEW V5C log book which will display the age related number plate which can take up to 14 days.

2. Proof of service history for your part exchange:
This can be found in your owner’s handbook normally as your “Service & Maintenance record”.
If your car has a digital service history which is stored on a centralised system with the manufacturer then please ensure you request a copy of the service history from their service department. Please bring this in on the day of your handover. Alternatively this can be emailed into us prior to hand over.
