Can I exchange my old smart for a new one?

Yes! If you are looking to part exchange your smart, we are able to offer you a free valuation instantly. Just fill out the valuation form and a member of our team will be in touch with the next steps. If you would like more information about part exchange, contact us.

Can I purchase a smart on Motability?

All smart models are available to be purchased on Motability. Speak with our team to find out more information on Motability. 

Does my smart come with Warranty?

All of our smarts come with a comprehensive three years warranty from new and twelve months warranty with Approved Used. However, you may be wondering what happens after this. You can choose to extend your warranty with us to cover you against any unexpected repair or replacement costs. Giving you peace of mind and confidence. smart batteries come with 8 years warranty and are covered up to 100,000km.

Can I get Roadside Assistance with my smart?

Should you need it, all smarts come with three years of roadside assistance from new. After this, your smart roadside assistance will be automatically renewed for a year every time your smart goes in for an official smart service for up to 30 years.

I want to set up/I have a query about my smart service plan, who do I speak to?

At smart South West, we have service plans as little as £20 a month to give your smart the TLC it needs. Our service plans cover both electric and combustion engines. To set up or speak to someone regarding your smart service plan, contact our service team

I am coming to the end of my finance agreement/I need to speak to someone about my finance agreement, who do I speak to?

I need a diagnostic on my smart but I do not want to sign up for a service plan.

Does smart have an app like Mercedes me?

Yes! smart has its very own smart EQ control app which allows you to see how much charge your smart has, the current range, pre-entry climate control, personalised push notifications, and eco scores. You can download smart EQ control app on the app store and on the google play store.

How can I improve my battery range?

Having an efficient driving style can help improve your smarts battery range. Ensure that you are planning ahead and breaking in advance as harsh braking can affect the battery life. smarts also come equipped with eco mode which uses regenerative braking to recoup energy. 

How long does charging take?

It takes 40 minutes to fast charge a smart.
