The New Normal – What to Expect When You Visit Our Dealerships

Our showroom doors officially reopened on Monday 1st June as lockdown restrictions began to ease in the UK. While our service departments have remained open and our sales teams have been assisting customers remotely, in line with government guidelines, we’ve also been working hard to transform our dealerships into Covid-secure spaces.

Here’s a list of what to expect, and some do’s and don’ts for your visit:

Do be prepared for things to be done slightly differently. We may ask you to leave your keys in a safety bag, or to move through our dealerships in a different way. We are doing this for your safety.

Do wear a face covering from Friday 24th July. Masks will be available from reception if you have not brought your own.

Do respect social distancing by keeping 2m apart from other customers and staff at all times.

Do try to limit the number of people that you bring along. We are advising that no more than two people per household visit our dealership at a time. This is for the safety of our customers and staff, and following best practice guidance for retail spaces

Do follow the one way systems that we have implemented in our dealerships. There are directional signs to guide you.

Do go through doors individually.

Do wash your hands as regularly as possible, we have customer toilets available at all of our sites so that you can do so.

Do cough/sneeze into your elbow if necessary.

Do avoid touching your face.

Do use the hand sanitizer provided as regularly as you’d like to.

Do let us know if there’s something that you think we can improve upon.

Do not visit our dealerships if you or any member of your household has symptoms of Covid-19. Please follow the government guidelines on self-isolation. We can carry out telephone and video appointments for sales customers.

Do expect a warm welcome, even if it is lacking the traditional handshake or comes from behind a safety screen; our staff are here and happy to help.
