2023 Wrapped: A year with Mercedes-Benz South West

2023 has been an eventful year at Mercedes-Benz South West, with new car models, a number of events, and whole lot of fun!
We’ve attended and hosted over 15 events, sold over 4,300 cars from our retail sites, and welcomed a number of new models to our dealerships this year.
We’ve listed some of our highlights below in celebration of a successful year, and we can’t wait to see what 2024 will bring.
County and Agricultural Shows
Devon County Show
Kicking off this year's Event Season was the infamous Devon County Show, held at Westpoint on May 18th-20th.
Royal Cornwall Show
We spent the baking hot weekend of June 8th-10th showcasing our prestigious vehicles in Wadebridge, enjoying the atmosphere of Cornwall's biggest event: Royal Cornwall Show.
Honiton Show
Contrary to the Royal Cornwall Show, our visit to the Honiton Show was rather wet and cold! Despite the bad weather, we had a fantastic time displaying our vehicles and meeting lots of customers.
Somerset County Show
We ended the summer Events Season with our stand at Somerset County Show. Another weekend with interesting weather, but it was great to showcase our new cars and share our exclusive offers.
Armed Forces Day and Air Show Events
Plymouth Armed Forces Day
We had the wonderful opportunity to head to Plymouth Hoe to celebrate Armed Forces Day on June 24th - a fantastic day showing support for the men and women who make up the Armed Forces Community.
Somerset Armed Forces Day
Another brilliant day supporting the Armed Forces Community, this time in Taunton. We had our trusty G-Wagon with us for patrons to explore while celebrating on July 1st.
Dunkeswell Air Show
We had the privilege of joining Dunkeswell Aerodrome in celebration of their 80th anniversary. Seeing our impressive cars next to iconic aviation vehicles was a particular highlight!
Test Drive Events
E-MOTION
We had a fantastic day at Cornwall's E-MOTION event on May 27th, where we got to showcase our electric range and meet other fantastic businesses dedicated to helping people begin their electric journey.
Taunton Test Drive Experience
Our Taunton Showroom welcomed customers for an exciting opportunity to test drive a variety of our models, from an AMG G 63 to an EQS. All test drivers of an electric vehicle were entered into a raffle, and we had the fantastic Little Red Fire Truck on hand serving delicious pizzas.
Cornwall Chamber of Commerce Test Drive Event
Cornwall Chamber of Commerce joined us at our Truro dealership on November 16th for an exclusive Business Test Drive Event. Patrons were invited to get behind the wheel of the latest Mercedes-Benz models to personally experience the epitome of luxury, performance, and innovation.
AMG Day
Our exclusive event held at Winslade Manor saw attendees immersed in all things AMG, from test driving prestigious models to experiencing a Full-Motion F1 Simulator. With the addition of a Q&A with local rugby star Jack Yeandle, lunch, mocktails, and the sunshine, it was a fantastic day for everyone involved. Watch our highlights here.

Winslade LBDM EQ Event
Visitors to our EQ event at Winslade Manor explored our range of high-tech electric vehicles.
Platinum Star Event
Our showrooms turned into stylish venues with music, lights, and a red carpet to illuminate our brand new models and exclusive offers on November 10th-13th.
Plymouth Argyle VIP Event
Our Plymouth showroom played host to Plymouth Argyle footballers as they explored our new car range and spoke to our knowledgeable team. Green Army!
